GSM Gateways
Dramatically cut the cost of int / ext company mobile calls. Typical ROI 4 months
Introduction
You have a number of field based employees; they need to keep in touch with each other and the office; new prospects need to be canvassed, and customers need support. The quickest and easiest way – You talk to them on their mobile phones or send them a text message.
This means that more and more landline to mobile calls and a lot of unrelated business calls are appearing on your telephone bill. As telephone costs are increasing and services becoming more complex, managing your phone bills is becoming more difficult. Deploying a GSM Gateway will improve efficiency and dramatically cut your telephone costs.
What is a GSM Gateway?
A GSM Gateway is a hardware component that contains mobile phone SIM cards (like having a group of mobile phones in your office). By reducing call chargesand eliminating any connection charges imposed by your fixed line carrier, it allows a land-based call to be routed to a mobile phone in the most cost effective way.
Intelligent SIM management software ensures access to the most cost effective route available. Calls to your own company’s mobile phones will be free of charge, as can calls in from the field. Simultaneously, calls to clients can be routed via a different SIM bundle, achieving a cost saving versus PSTN calls, of 50% to 70%.
International Mobile Call Charges Slashed
For international calls made on mobile phones the savings are substantial. Clever software routes the call via the GSM Gateway. The call is connected within a fraction of a second via the company switchboard and connected at landline rates. A call to the USA could cost as little as 2p pm. Calls made whilst roaming are charged at the rate for receiving a call.
What could it mean for my Company?
Free calls from your company’s landlines to your company’s mobile phones
Cheap calls from your company’s land lines to all other mobile phones for only 6.25p pm
Free calls from your company’s mobile phones to head office
Free calls from your company’s mobile phones to a DDI
Calls from your company’s mobile phones to all other destinations at land line rates (e.g. USA 2ppm) or free (IP)
Full disaster recovery. A back up service in the event of BT line failure
What does it Cost?
The cost depends on the model selected and number of channels required to go live. There is a model to meet all levels of traffic volume ranging from 1-60 channels.
AbbiTek will work with you to calculate the optimum number of channels and SIM cards you need to suit the amount of calls your business makes every month. Typically, the return on investment is within 4 months.
Will it affect my current Mobile Phone or Land-Based Contract or existing infrastructure?
The GSM Gateway can be used in conjunction with your existing PBX system, fixed line carrier and mobile phone network. It does not impact on any arrangement you have with your Service Provider or supplier. As you do not have to wait for contracts to expire before you install the device, savings can start straight away.
There will be no effect on the Switch when installing a GSM Gateway alongside your existing Telephone PBX. Normal landline-to-landline calls pass onto the fixed network through the Gateway as normal. When a ‘07’ number is dialed the Gateway identifies it as a mobile number and automatically routes it through a SIM card in the Gateway. AbbiTek are experts in pbx installation, GSM and IP so we cover all bases and will provide a totally integrated system.
