Through working with a close integrator partner, Abbitek successfully secured in June this year sign -off to provide an 80 user VoIP  Avaya IP office system .

Completed in August on very tight timescales to co-incide with opening on September 5th, the AbbiTek team worked alongside construction crew putting the final touches to the fantastic new building. Everything was up and running on time even though their ISDN provider had not delivered the required connectivity on time. 

How?

Abbitek came to the rescue at the 11th hour by within hours, setting up several SIP trunks on the Avaya system, complete with extenal numbers. Initially a temporary measure, the performance has been so impressive, BACA have retained the SIP connection and are considering expanding despite the ISDN connecion now being present and working. Reduced costs, increased flexibily and speed to implement being key benefits.

VoIP also offers total flexibility in terms of moves, changes, administration, additional features and services which can be added remotely with just a license key.

Full Unified Communications features such as single number reach, mobile twinning and video are a few of the additional options now being considered.

BACA is the second Academy to be installed this year by AbbiTek. Wellington Academy in Wiltshire, another new build,  successfully came online with Avaya in April 2011.
